Hall of the Above is a community event venue located in the iconic Sonoma County National Bank, built in 1925. As the gateway to downtown Petaluma, it anchors the historic district and takes Pride of Place as a building loved by generations of Petalumans.

After serving as the headquarters for the beloved Seed Bank from 2009-2018, the building stood vacant until 2023, as bringing it into compliance with the current Building Code was a very large undertaking. After a year of construction by the Hall of the Above team, the building was reopened to the community in the fall of 2024. Since then it has been a host to weddings, concerts fundraisers, dances… the list grows, and is always open for bookings for events of any type!
