Hall of the Above is a community event venue located in the iconic Sonoma County National Bank, built in 1926. At the gateway to downtown Petaluma, it anchors the historic district and takes Pride of Place as a building loved by generations of Petalumans.

After serving as the headquarters of The Seed Bank from 2009-2018, the building stood vacant until 2023, due to the number of repairs required to bring the structure into compliance with the building code.

After a year lease negotiations, permitting and construction, the Hall of the Above team reopened the building to the community in the fall of 2024. Since then, it has hosted weddings, concerts, fundraisers, dances – the list grows, and is available for you to book for events of any type!
